TOHOKU-chiho

The Tohoku region(Chiho) is north-east part of the main island.
This region consists of six prefectures: Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata and Fukushima.
All areas excluding the Pacific Coast of Miyagi and Fukushima are heavy snowy areas.
Its land is suitable for rice making, so is characterized by many rice fields.
