Tottori-ken

Tottori prefecture has the smallest population in Japan.
The prefecture is famous for the vast Tottori sand dune spreading 2.4 km north-south and 16 km east-west.
It is the hometown of two famous comic authors, the author of Case Closed and the author of GeGeGe no Kitaro.
So, Tottori Airport is called “Tottori Sand Dunes Conan Airport”, Yonago Airport is “Yonago Kitaro Airport” and Shopping Street in Sakaiminato city is “Mizuki Shigeru Road”.
