Aomori-ken

Aomori prefecture is located at the northernmost of main island.
Local specialty are apples and garlic, boasting the nation’s top production. Tuna in Oma-machi is also famous.
As for festival, the Aomori Nebuta Festival and the Hirosaki Neputa Festival are famous.
The Neputa Festival and Sakura Festival are held in the Hirosaki Park where Hirosaki Castle is located.
