Akita-ken

Akita Prefecture is known for especially Namahage Sedo Festival, Akita Dog.
There is ShirakamiSanchi, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Tazawa Lake boasting the deepest and most transparent in Japan.
Akita’s specialties are Akitakomachi(Japanese Rice),Inaniwa Udon Noodles and Kiritanpo.
Tsuzureko Odaiko which is a folk performing art handed down from old times in the area is designated as one of the nation’s intangible folklore cultural assets.
