Shiga-ken

Shiga Prefecture has Lake Biwa, which has the largest area and water storage capacity in Japan, accounting for one-sixth of the prefecture.
There are many historic castles such as Azuchi castle ruins, Hikone castle and Nagahama castle ruins.
It is famous as the place where the Koga tribe ninja is occurring, and Koga-no-sato Ninja Village is a popular theme park for tourists.
The Japan International Birdman Rally, a competition to flight distance and flight time by human-powered aircraft, was held every year.
